What is the Superfood Academy?

The heart of the Superfood Academy is centered around a beautifully simple idea: eating more fruits and vegetables consistently throughout our daily meals. This promotes an accessible, achievable approach to nourishing our bodies with the foods they were designed to thrive on. At the core of this initiative is a concept known as "FAVES," are "fruits and vegetables every spread." This FAVES100 system encourages everyone, regardless of budget or cooking expertise, to enhance their plates with more color and nutrition.

What to Expect from the Sessions

The goal of the Superfood Academy sessions at Hope House Foundation is straightforward and attainable: to support staff and clients in increasing their FAVES and taking meaningful, lasting steps toward improved health. Participants at these sessions engage with good energy and valuable information, all while sharing a commitment to live better.

Individuals went home with a delightful, printed 4-page take-home resource, the "Sparkle Summer Salad & Sandwich Recipe Booklet." This booklet features beginner-friendly tools and tips, making it easy for families and individuals to put their FAVES goals into action right away.

Welcome to the Superfood Academy

Something special is happening at Hope House Foundation, and it's all about embracing the vibrant world of fruits and vegetables. This season, we’re thrilled to introduce the Superfood Academy sessions, a fantastic initiative brought to our community by Superfood Parents, founded by the passionate Nurse Laquita Marie, and generously funded by Support + Feed. These interactive and inspiring sessions meet our community members where they are, equipping them with practical tools to enhance their health, one colorful plate at a time.
